Festival International is famous all across Louisiana and well known across all of the U.S.. Haven't heard about Festival before? It's definitely an event you don't want to miss! First and foremost, Festival International de Louisiane is a non-profit organization that brings unique performers from all around the world to Lafayette, Louisiana. Festival International emphasizes a connection between the Francophone culture and Acadiana. The organization is also committed to keeping the festival free to the general public, because uniting the community of Louisiana is at the heart of their mission.

The annual festival features music artists from over 48 states and 10 countries, and more than 100 performances take place over the course of 5 days! It keeps getting better. On top of so many incredible music performances, there's other exciting activities at the festival! You can explore visual art, theater, tons of unique food, and exciting exhibits in between music performances! To get an idea of the scale of this festival, over 300,000 people from around the country attend every year and the estimated economic impact is $49 million.

Another big part of Festival International is the annual Courir du Festival 5K run/walk, which helps support the organization year after year. There's also the Louisiana International Music Exchange, which presents Louisiana musicians to industry professionals from around the world, and includes music showcases, industry panels & networking.
