The 2018 Chevrolet Colorado offers three different engine options. The standard engine is a 2.5-liter direct injected four-cylinder engine with 200 hp. The other two are the GM-exclusive Duramax 2.8-liter turbo-diesel four-cylinder with 181 hp and a power-packed 3.6-liter DOHC V6 engine generating 308 hp. Chevrolet claims that the 2.8-liter engine is the most fuel-efficient pickup engine in America, while the 3.6L V6 offers more horsepower than any other mid-sized truck on the market.

<p>The Colorado uses coil front suspension and rear leaf springs to make the most of its standard boxed frame. It also has well-weighted electric power steering, embedded Stabilitrak electronic stability control, hill descent controls, and rear locking differential to provide better ride quality both on and off the road.</p><p>This pickup is also cost-effective to own, as its base engine delivers an EPA-rated 20 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway. Its turbo-diesel engine can travel 22 mpg in the city and 30 mpg on the highway.</p>

<p>The 2018 Colorado offers three seating variations: two-, four-, or five-seater. It comes with heated front seats, optional leather appointed seats, and a huge center console with secure storage. In the Crew Cab version, the rear seats can be folded down to create more storage space.</p><p>The Colorado comes standard with a 4.2-inch display screen, streaming audio, Bluetooth, and a USB port. Available features include the MyLink system with a 7-inch or 8-inch display, Apple CarPlay, navigation, satellite radio, seven-speaker audio system, Wi-Fi hotspot, and wireless phone-charging.</p>
