Job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair and diagnostics, providing exceptional service to our customers.
Duties
- Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
- Utilize automotive diagnostics tools to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
- Conduct thorough inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety and performance standards.
- Communicates with service advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.
- Road tests vehicles when required or refers to the test technician.
- Participates in manufacturer-sponsored training programs, schools and events.
- Keeps abreast of manufacturer technical bulletins.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Experience
Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role, preferably in a dealership environment. Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software for troubleshooting. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively with team members while also being self-motivated. You must have a clean driving record, and pass an MVR driving records background check.
