2019 Cadillac XTS

<p>The 2018 Cadillac XTS is available in five trim levels: the base Standard, Luxury, Premium Luxury, Platinum, and the top-of-the-line V-Sport Platinum. This sedan manages to hide its girth well with a harmonious blend of curves and angles. Although it has the same profile as its predecessor, it features a number of new styling elements, including a cleaner grille with more chrome and redesigned bumpers. </p><p>The base model comes with LED headlamps and taillights and 19-inch Pearl Nickel premium painted alloy wheels. The Premium Luxury trim offers 20-inch cast aluminum wheels and IntelliBeam headlamps, while the V-Sport Platinum has an exclusive V-Sport grille and unique 20-inch V-Sport sterling-silver painted alloy wheels.</p>

<p>Most trims of the 2018 Cadillac XTS are equipped with a 3.6-liter V6 engine that develops 304 horsepower and 264 pound-feet of torque. The fuel economy rating for this engine is 19/28 mpg (city/highway). The V-Sport Platinum gets an exclusive twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter V6 that churns out 410 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque. Both engines are mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. The turbocharged unit delivers better performance and manages 16/23 mpg. </p><p>The Cadillac XTS can accelerate from zero to 60 mph in 6.8 seconds with the base engine and 5.2 seconds with the turbocharged engine. </p>

<p>For 2018, the Cadillac XTS has received some suspension revisions to provide better ride quality. It delivers a smooth and stable ride in most situations, even over uneven surfaces. Due to its excellent body control, it feels composed around corners and along winding roads. </p><p>For better handling, add the available MagnaRide, which uses a self-leveling rear air suspension system and electromagnetically controlled dampers to deliver a comfortable ride over almost any terrain. Despite its size and weight, the Cadillac XTS is surprisingly light on its feet. </p>

The 2018 Cadillac XTS boasts a spacious cabin that is equipped with the most advanced technologies. The base model offers an infotainment system with an 8-inch display, eight-speaker Bose surround-sound system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, Bluetooth, built-in Wi-Fi hotspot, USB ports, 5.7-inch multi-information display, dual-zone climate control, and wireless charging. The higher end trims also offer a 14-speaker surround-sound system, heated and ventilated seats, panoramic sunroof, and tri-zone climate control.

The 2018 Cadillac XT5 has received an overall five-star rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Besides standard safety features such as airbags, anti-lock brake system, electronic stability, and rear-view camera, the car also offers a Driver Awareness package that includes lane-departure alert, blind-spot monitoring, forward-collision warning, and automatic emergency braking. The upper trims also have a heads-up display as standard equipment.
