2019 Chevrolet Impala

<p>The 2019 Chevrolet Impala is available in three different trims: the base-model LS, the midlevel LT, and the upper-level Premier. All the trims have a compact spare tire and front intermittent wipers. The LS comes equipped with halogen headlights, power mirrors, 18-inch steel wheels with fascia-spoke wheel covers, and body-color door handles. The LT adds LED daytime running lights and heated power mirrors with integrated turn signals and comes with 18-inch painted alloy wheels that can be upgraded to 19-inch special midnight edition wheels with black-painted pockets.</p><p>The Premier builds upon the features of the previous trims, adding automatic high-intensity discharge headlights, chrome door handles with a body-color strip, and 19-inch machined-face aluminum wheels that can be upgraded to either the special midnight edition wheels or twenty-inch aluminum wheels.</p>

The 2019 Chevrolet Impala offers two engines. The LS and LT both are both equipped with a 2.5-liter ECOTEC four-cylinder engine with variable valve timing and automatic start/stop technology. This engine pumps out 197 horsepower and 191 pound-feet of torque. Standard on the Premier trim is a 3.6-liter V-6 engine with variable valve timing, and it churns out 305 horsepower and 264 pound-feet of torque. The LS and LT can both be upgraded to this engine as well.

All three trims are front-wheel drive and come with a standard six-speed automatic transmission with electronic overdrive, as well as a four-link rear suspension and a MacPherson front suspension that help with handling on curvy roads and absorbing any bumps to ensure a smooth ride.

<p>With plenty of room to seat five adults, the 2019 Chevrolet Impala oozes comfort and convenience. The LT and Premier trims come with dual-zone climate controls, and Premier owners get heated front seats. All three trims come with an eight-way power-adjustable driver seat with lumbar control. The LS and LT also equip a four-way manually adjustable front-passenger seat, and the Premier bumps that up to an eight-way power-adjustable seat that is also available as an upgrade on the LT.</p><p>All three trims are equipped with three USB ports and an 8-inch color touch screen and Chevrolet infotainment system that comes loaded with Bluetooth streaming audio, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capabilities, and voice-activation technology. In the Premier, this system is upgraded to include a navigation system that maps in both 2D and 3D. And you can stay connected on the go with a standard 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot that is built into all three trims.</p>

The 2019 Chevrolet Impala is loaded with safety features, including 10 airbags, StabiliTrak electronic stability control with traction control, daytime running lights, and a rear-vision camera. The Premier also comes with rear cross-traffic alert and can be upgraded to include lane-departure warning and forward-collision alert. Owners will also enjoy peace of mind with Chevrolet Connected Access, which comes with 10 years of standard connectivity and includes vehicle diagnostics and dealer maintenance notifications.
