2019 Chevy Silverado 1500

<p>The 2019 Silverado 1500 has made a lot of changes to the truck's trims. Some trims that were available in the 2018 model are no longer available, and they have added a couple of trims as well. With all the changes, there are a total of eight trims that you can look forward to in the 2019 Silverado. Trims include the High Country, LZT, LT Trail Boss, RST, LT, Custom Trail Boss, Custom, and WT. </p><p>In addition to the new trims, there are a few changes to the exterior of the 2019 Silverado 1500. The truck is now bigger and lighter than the 2018 Silverado 1500. The truck is 1.6 inches longer and has an extra 3.9 inches on its wheelbase. The truck bed is also 7 inches wider.</p><p>A new feature that comes with the 2019 Silverado 1500 is a power-operated tailgate. It allows drivers to automatically open the tailgate with their key fob or a cabin-mounted button inside the truck.</p>

There will be a total of six different powertrain combinations available in the Silverado 1500. Two new V-8 engines will be available, including a 5.3-liter engine and a 6.2-liter engine. There is also a new turbocharged diesel engine that will be available in the 2019 Silverado 1500. It will be a 3.0-liter inline-six engine.

<p>The Silverado 1500 promises improved driving efficiency with their new Dynamic Fuel Management system. The system can cut fuel flow between one and seven cylinders, depending on the road conditions. The Dynamic Fuel Management System will have the ability to boost fuel economy when driving. You can also look forward to stop/start technology with the 6.2-liter turbo diesel V8 engine. This powerhouse will also be mated with a 10-speed automatic transmission. </p><p>The 2019 Silverado 1500 is also significantly lighter than its predecessor, thanks to a lighter hood, doors, and tailgate. The roof, fenders, and bed are still made of steel, but Chevrolet was able to cut 450 pounds from last year's Silverado. With so much weight gone, you're sure to get better performance.</p>

Inside the 2019 Silverado 1500, you can look forward to more room in the back seat. The back-seat room has gone from 40.9-inches to 43.8-inches, leaving you with almost three more inches of space when you are in the back seat. There is also more storage available with two large storage bins in the back seat as well as storage under the bottom of the rear seats.

Not a lot of information is available about the safety features that will be on the 2019 Silverado 1500. It has been announced that new safety and convenience features will be available later in the year. You can assume that the safety features will be similar or better than the 2018 Silverado 1500. Low-Speed Forward Automatic Braking, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, Forward Collision Alert, Front and Rear Park Assist, and a Rear Vision Camera are included.
