2020 Chevrolet Trax

The 2020 Chevrolet Trax is available in three different trim levels — the LS, LT, and Premier. The base LS trim level features a two-way manually adjustable passenger seat, a four-way manually adjustable driver's seat, power windows and locks, and cloth upholstery. When upgrading to the Trax LT, car buyers receive deluxe cloth upholstery, heated outside mirrors, a household-style power outlet, satellite radio, cruise control, and remote start. The final, most luxurious trim is the Trax Premier, which comes with synthetic leather upholstery, heated front seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a six-way power-adjustable driver's seat, proximity keyless entry, push-button start, a sunroof, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and a seven-speaker Bose premium stereo system.

All of the 2020 Chevrolet Trax trim levels are powered by a 1.4-liter turbocharged inline-four engine. This engine is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. With this engine, the 2020 Trax earns an EPA-estimated 26 mpg in the city and 31 mpg on the highway with the front-wheel-drive setup or 24 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway with the optional all-wheel-drive setup.

The 2020 Chevrolet Trax is capable of achieving as much as 138 horsepower at 4,900 revolutions per minute (rpm) and 148 pound-feet of torque at 1,850 rpm. With the front-wheel-drive setup, the vehicle can move from zero to 60 mph in 9.3 seconds. The six-speed automatic transmission gets the job done, offering a responsive and smooth experience for driver's behind the wheel.

The 2020 Chevrolet Trax has two rows of seating. The subcompact SUV can seat up to five passengers. Behind the second row of seating is 18.7 cubic feet of space. If you are interested in increased storage space, the second row of seating can fold down and open the cabin up to 48.4 cubic feet of space. On the dashboard of the 2020 Trax, you can find a 7-inch touch screen. This touch screen works alongside the Chevrolet Infotainment 3 System. It also includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration as standard features. You can use these features to sync your smartphone to your vehicle in order to make hands-free phone calls, send hands-free text messages, stream your music library, utilize your favorite navigation apps, and so on.

The 2020 Chevrolet Trax earned an overall crash test rating of five out of five stars by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. It also earned five stars in the frontal and side crash tests as well as four stars in the rollover evaluation. The 2020 Trax comes standard with a rearview camera, but the vehicle is also optionally available with rear parking sensors, rear cross traffic alert, blind spot monitoring, lane departure warning, and forward collision warning.
