2021 Chevrolet Camaro

For 2021, the Chevy Camaro is offered in LS, 1LT, 2LT, 3LT, LT1, 1SS, 2SS, and the awesome track-bred ZL1 trim levels. All but the LS are available as a stunning convertible. The four lower trims feature LED daytime running lights and headlights, 18-inch alloy wheels, and color-keyed bumpers, mirrors, and door handles.

The LT1 adds 20-inch wheels, while SS models have unique SS front-end styling and a rear stanchion spoiler. The high-performance ZL1 offers exclusive badging, larger front cooling ducts, a hood air extractor, flared fenders, dark graphite-painted wheels, and a unique rear spoiler.

Starting the powertrain lineup is a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine delivering 275 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque to the rear wheels. Optional for the 1, 2, and 3LT trims is a 3.6-liter V-6 producing 355 horsepower and 284 pound-feet of torque.

LT1 and SS models feature a 6.2-liter V-8 that produces 455 horsepower and 455 pound-feet of torque. Powering the ZL1 is a supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 generating 650 horsepower and 650 pound-feet.

All models come standard with a six-speed automatic transmission. The base engine has the option of an eight-speed auto with paddle shift, while the V-6 and V-8 can be paired with a 10-speed paddle shifting auto.

With the 2.0-liter turbo, you'll get up to 23 mpg for combined city and highway driving, and it will take from zero to 60 mph in 5.4 seconds. The V-6 returns up to 20 mpg combined and accelerates to 60 mpg in 5.1 seconds. The standard V-8 gets you to 60 mph in 4 seconds, while the ZL1 takes just 3.5 seconds to hit 60 mph.

The LT1 features Brembo front performance brakes, while the SS models have front and rear Brembo brakes. Keeping the ZL1 on track are an electronic limited-slip differential, launch control, performance-tuned suspension, magnetic ride control, and upgraded Brembo brakes.

Inside the Camaro's driver-focused cabin, you'll find premium cloth or stylish leather upholstery, folding rear seats, and a leather-wrapped flat-bottom steering wheel. The base infotainment system features wireless smartphone integration, a Wi-Fi hot spot, Bluetooth, voice activation, a 7-inch touch screen, and six-speaker audio.

The 2LT offers heated and ventilated front seats and dual-zone climate control. Stepping up to the 3LT or 2SS gets you driver memory settings, a heated steering wheel, a head-up display, 24-color spectrum lighting, an 8-inch touch screen, and a nine-speaker Bose sound system. The ZL1 adds Recaro bucket seats, alloy sports pedals, and a suede microfiber-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob.

The Camaro's standard safety features include electronic stability control, traction control, four-wheel ABS disc brakes, an electronic parking brake, a rearview camera, a tire pressure monitoring system, tire fill alert, and teen driver settings. The 3LT trim adds lane change alert with side blind zone alert, rear cross-traffic alert, rear parking sensors, and a rear camera mirror.
