2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer

The new Trailblazer features a modern and exciting exterior design with sculpted lines and a uniquely styled hatch. You can choose from five trims with this SUV: the L, LS, LT, Activ, and RS. Apart from trendy paint options such as Satin Steel and Dark Copper, the Trailblazer features two-tone roofs on the Active and RS trims. Standard equipment includes halogen headlamps and taillamps, a manual liftgate, 16-inch steel wheels, and signature LED daytime running lights.

The LS trim adds 17-inch alloy wheels, while the LT trim features roof-mounted side rails, LED fog lights, heated mirrors, deep-tinted glass, and silver-painted front and rear lower fascias. With the Activ trim, you'll receive trailering equipment, LED taillights, and titanium chrome-plated front and rear lower fascias. The range-topping RS trim comes with 18-inch alloy wheels and black front and rear lower fascias.

You can choose from two engines with the new Trailblazer. The standard engine is a 1.2-liter three-cylinder that works together with a continuously variable transmission to produce 137 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque. For a more energetic performance, opt for the available 1.3-liter engine, which pairs with a nine-speed automatic transmission and generates 155 horsepower and 174 pound-feet of torque.

The standard McPherson suspension system of the Trailblazer delivers a comfortable ride by smoothing out most of the imperfections on the road. If you like spending time in the great outdoors, opt for the Activ trim, which is equipped with a 1.3-liter engine and standard off-road features. These include a dual-outlet exhaust, a functional skid plate, off-road suspension tuning, 17-inch sport terrain tires, and more ground clearance through a reshaped front fascia.

The Trailblazer's cabin provides spacious and comfortable seating for up to five passengers. You'll also receive a roomy cargo area of 25.3 cubic feet behind the rear seats, which you can extend to a maximum of 54.4 cubic feet if you fold the rear seats down. The standard 7-inch infotainment system is well-equipped with a Wi-Fi hot spot, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, four speakers, Bluetooth, and USB ports. Other standard features include an electronic parking brake, air conditioning, and cloth upholstery.

The LS trim features six speakers and a flat-folding front passenger seatback, while the LT trim adds a power-adjustable driver's seat, heated front seats, cruise control, and remote start. With the Activ trim comes a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, while the RS trim boasts red interior accents and leatherette upholstery. You can also opt for available packages, such as the Convenience Package, which offers an auto-dimming rearview mirror, rear-seat USB charge ports, automatic climate control, satellite radio, and an 8-inch display.

The new Trailblazer boasts impressive standard driver-assist features. These include automatic emergency braking, front pedestrian braking, forward-collision alert, a following distance indicator, a rear-vision camera, IntelliBeam, and lane-keeping assist.
