2022 Chevrolet Trailblazer

The Trailblazer has a trendy and sharply styled exterior design with a two-toned paint scheme. You can choose from attractive paint options such as Zeus Bronze Metallic/Summit White and Vivid Orange Metallic/Summit White. Since the base L trim has been dropped for the new model year, you can choose from the following trims: the LS, LT, Activ, and RS.

With the LS trim, you receive standard features such as 17-inch aluminum wheels, halogen head- and taillights, a manual liftgate, power-adjustable side mirrors, and signature LED daytime running lamps. The LT trim comes with a few upgrades such as 17-inch high-gloss Black aluminum wheels, deep-tinted glass, LED fog lamps, heated side mirrors, and roof-mounted side rails.

You can choose from two engines with the Trailblazer. The standard turbocharged 1.2-liter three-cylinder engine pairs with a continuously variable automatic transmission and generates 137 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque. Power is sent to the front wheels.

Those who want access to an optional all-wheel-drive system should opt for the turbocharged 1.3-liter three-cylinder engine. It is mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission and has an output of 155 horsepower and 174 pound-feet of torque.

With its compact size and light steering, the Trailblazer is the ideal vehicle with which to maneuver through busy urban spaces. The SUV's suspension system provides a comfortable ride and confident cornering. In addition, you can adjust the Trailblazer's traction according to your needs through three available drive modes: Normal, AWD/Snow, and Sport.

For a small SUV, the Trailblazer boasts an impressively spacious cabin. In fact, the SUV boasts best-in-class rear-room space. You receive 25.3 cubic feet of cargo space with the rear seats up, while folding them down opens up a maximum cargo area of 54.4 cubic feet. The standard, user-friendly 7-inch infotainment system is equipped with SiriusXM, six speakers, USB ports, Wi-Fi hot-spot capability, and wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto compatibility.

Other standard features include a flat-folding front passenger seatback and cloth upholstery. The higher trims add various upgrades, including a power-adjustable driver's seat, active noise cancelation, cruise control, keyless open, a leather-wrapped shift knob and steering wheel, and a leatherette seat trim.

All Trailblazer trims come standard with the Chevy Safety Assist package, which consists of advanced safety and driver assistance features. You receive forward-collision alert and automatic emergency braking, front pedestrian braking, lane-keep assist with lane-departure warning, a following distance indicator, and Intellibeam high beam assist. Other standard safety features include a rear-vision camera and a rear-seat reminder.
