Trim Levels (Exterior)
If you're looking to show off your personal style when behind the wheel of the 2023 Colorado, you can pick from one of the seven available exterior paint colors. If you prefer something subtle and understated, opt for Harvest Bronze Metallic, Sterling Gray Metallic, Sand Dune Metallic, Summit White, or Black. If brighter and more bold colors are more your style, you can select from Glacier Blue Metallic or Radiant Red Tintcoat.
Discover the Chevy Colorado in five trim levels for 2023: Work Truck, LT, Trail Boss, Z71, and ZR2. The entry-level Work Truck trim starts things off with all-season tires and 17-inch wheels. If you pick the LT trim level you get 17-inch wheels with all-season tires, as well as a body-color rear bumper, body-color door handles, and a body-color front fascia.
The Trail Boss trim is up next and comes with 18-inch wheels with all-terrain tires, a wider chassis, and a factory-lifted suspension. Pick the Z71 trim level if you're looking for LED headlamps, taillamps, and fog lamps, or the ZR2 trim level for 17-inch wheels with 33-inch OD MT tires, a wider chassis, a high-performance lifted suspension, and segment-exclusive Multimatic DSSV dampers.
Engine (Power)
The standard engine offering for the 2023 Chevy Colorado is a 2.7-liter turbocharged engine that produces 237 horsepower and 259 pound-feet of torque. If you're looking for greater strength you can select the available 2.7-liter turbocharged plus engine that can generate as much as 310 horsepower and 390 pound-feet of torque. The final engine option is a 2.7-liter turbocharged high-output engine, which can produce 310 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque. No matter which engine you opt for, the vehicle comes with an eight-speed automatic transmission under the hood.
Performance
Sticking with the standard Chevy Colorado gets you a maximum tow rating of 3,500 pounds. If this isn't a high enough tow rating for you, you can upgrade to the 2.7-liter turbocharged plus engine or the 2.7-liter turbocharged high-output engine, both of which increase towing capacity to 7,700 pounds when properly equipped.
