2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer

With the new Trailblazer, you'll have four trim levels to choose from, and they all have something special to offer the vehicle's exterior features. With the base LS trim, you already get the benefit of 17-inch aluminum wheels. Upgrade to the LT, however, and you can enjoy LED fog lamps and silver-painted roof rails. The Trailblazer's ACTIV trim is designed to offer increased performance, and that's reflected in its exterior via sport terrain tires. You also get the benefit of LED taillamps. At the top trim level, which is the RS, you can enjoy dual-outlet exhaust with round polished tips. Additionally, the Trailblazer RS comes equipped with 18-inch high-gloss black machined aluminum wheels.

Under the hood of the new Trailblazer, you'll find one of two engine options. The first is the ECOTEC 1.2-liter Turbo I-3 engine, which boasts 137 horsepower with 162 pound-feet of torque. If that's not quite enough power for you, you can upgrade to the ECOTEC 1.3-liter Turbo I-3, which pushes horsepower to 155 and offers 174 pound-feet of torque.

While the performance of the Trailblazer is always impressive, the exact kind of driving experience you'll have depends on which version of the Trailblazer you opt for. Front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive are both available, and the ACTIV trim excels at off-road capability when compared to the other Trailblazer options. You can even get a Trailblazer that lets you cycle through three different drive modes: normal, all-wheel drive, and sport.

Inside the Trailblazer, drivers can enjoy plenty of space for both passengers and cargo. With an 8.5-foot max cargo length, a two-level load floor, and a 54.4-cubic-foot cargo volume, it's easy to see why this subcompact SUV is a favorite among drivers who haul a lot of cargo. Of course, passengers will find plenty of room as well, as there's room for up to five people to sit comfortably. With best-in-class rear-seat legroom coming in at 39.4 inches, your family and friends won't have any complaints about riding in the back.

Safety features on the new Trailblazer are state-of-the-art, and a host of driver assistance features come standard on all models as a part of the Chevy Safety Assist system. Some of the most impressive features include forward collision alert and automatic emergency braking, as well as front pedestrian braking and lane keep assist with lane departure warning.
