It’s that time of year again, Chevy Youth Baseball is here! Since 2006, Chevrolet has helped to empower the next generation of major league talent through various youth sports initiatives, including instructional clinics, donating equipment, providing uniforms and more.
As of 2017, 1,559 dealers across the U.S. have participated in the Chevy Youth Baseball program, which has sponsored 1,367 free youth clinics, given 14,047 league enhancements, and donated 136,000 sports kits! Last but not least, an astounding 6.7 million kids have been reached through this program, and this year Chevy strives to reach more than ever!
Service Chevrolet Cadillac has joined forces with the Chevy Youth Baseball program again this year to provide new equipment and 2 FREE instructional clinics to the kids in our community! The clinics will be instructed by former MLB/MiLB players/coaches or instructors from Ripken Baseball. Each clinic breaks up the participants by age group, and then each group rotates through educational stations to learn hitting, fielding, pitching, and more. Special Needs participants of all ages are also welcome to attend!
But that’s not all, we’re also teaming up with the Lafayette Little League Challengers, and you can help support this local team through our Test Drive fundraiser! From now until June 30th, we will provide $25 for each eligible test drive of a new Chevrolet, up to a maximum of $500! Help us make a big impact on our community, schedule a test drive with us today!
