Blue Moon Saloon & Guesthouse
Downtown Lafayette’s Blue Moon Saloon & Guesthouse is a top tourist venue, and it’s nominated for a Times of Acadiana Best of 2018 title in two categories: Best Bar and Best Place for Live Music. As the host to several music festivals, local performers, and a weekly Cajun Jam, it’s no wonder this place serves as a premier spot for the best in blues, rock ‘n’ roll, and Louisiana favorites like Cajun, Creole, and zydeco music.

The Wurst Biergarten
This downtown venue is definitely full of activity year-round, and pets are welcome to join in on the fun. Thursdays are for the ladies with half-price drinks, and Fridays and Saturdays offer guests manager specials to sample. The Grouse Room
This snazzy venue definitely takes a more upscale approach than the other destinations on this list. It’s the perfect stop for a friendly get-together where live music, dancing, and cocktails are the norm. Grab a partner and hit the main dance floor, enjoy intimate seating in the VIP room, and take in the lovely work of notable Lafayette photographer John Chiasson.
The Grouse Room also hosts a weekly Ladies Night every Thursday from 8 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. This event offers free and discounted drinks for ladies, plus door prizes and live entertainment, all for a cover fee of $10.
The Saint Street Inn
Situated in one of Lafayette’s most historic districts, the Saint Street Inn has a cozy ambiance with a focus on farm-to-table dishes.
