On the track, the 2025 Corvette E-Ray is a monster. It gets to 60 in just 2.5 seconds, which means it is quicker off the line than the McLaren Artura or even the Acura NSX Type S. Off the track, it’s still totally at ease. It’s comfy, smooth, and just as happy cruising around town. Let’s take a look at the three trims and see what each one adds to this already impressive package.
Exploring the Trim Levels of the 2025 Corvette E-Ray
1LZ
The 1LZ starts you off right with GT1 seats, which are cushy enough for long drives but firm enough to keep you planted when things get quick. They’re wrapped in Mulan leather and fully power-adjustable. But if you’re thinking more race weekends than road trips, the Competition Sport seats are an easy upgrade. These are more locked-in and feature performance textiles in high-wear areas.
The cabin doesn’t slack, either. You get a squared-off steering wheel, a ten-speaker Bose sound system, and all the tech you want, including wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an HD rear vision camera, and a head-up display. The coupe’s roof comes off and tucks away neatly in the trunk just behind the engine. Speaking of trunks, the back can fit a couple of golf bags, and the smaller front trunk handles luggage when the roof’s out of the way.
2LZ
The 2LZ takes the 1LZ’s homework and adds a little extra sparkle. The GT1 seats are still comfy but now has back bolsters, built-in lumbar support, memory settings, heating, and cooling. The steering wheel also features a heating function, which you’ll appreciate on colder days. There’s also a 14-speaker Bose Performance Series sound system, built-in voice assistance, real-time traffic and navigation, wireless phone charging, and a couple of cargo nets to keep your stuff from sliding around.
If you’re planning to hit the track, you’ll come to love the performance data and video recorder. It captures video and real-time driving stats such as speed, RPM, g-forces, and track maps, allowing you to review your laps or relive the experience later at home. It even has a Valet Mode that records what happens when someone else is behind the wheel. And yes, it doubles as a solid dash cam.
3LZ
The top-of-the-line 3LZ model comes with GT2 bucket seats wrapped in Napa leather, carbon fiber trims, and a few racy cues pulled from the Competition Sport setup. The steering wheel here is crafted from carbon fiber. You’ll find soft materials just about everywhere, from sueded microfiber on the headliner, visors, and A-pillars to leather on the upper dash, doors, and console.
