Drivers who want an abundance of features, an immensely powerful powertrain, and none of the massive fuel costs can have it all with the 2025 Chevy Blazer EV. The electric SUV is equipped with advanced performance-enhancing and semi-autonomous driving technology, offering a glimpse into the future of EVs.

Meet the 2025 Chevy Blazer EV: Electric Innovation

Next-Level Performance

Acceleration is generally not the strong suit of family-friendly SUVs, but the Blazer EV’s dual motor setup generates the electric torque needed to dominate drag races. On the all-wheel drive LT and RS trims, two electric motors produce 300 hp and 355 lb-ft of torque in an AWD configuration. The RWD models are propelled by a single, more powerful electric motor, bumping up the output to 365 hp and 325 lb-ft of torque.

However, the lineup’s best performance figures are offered at the SS trim level, which is propelled by a pair of electric motors producing a mighty 595 hp and 645 lb-ft of torque. It also features Wide Open Watts, a revolutionary electric launch control system that allows the SUV to challenge most muscle cars on a drag strip. The Blazer EV SS sprints to 60 mph from a standstill in 3.4 seconds, making it the quickest production SS model in history.

Reliable Driving Range

GM’s innovative platform houses an 85 kWh battery, which offers 283 miles of driving range on AWD LT and RS models. Meanwhile, the SS trim level is equipped with a larger capacity 105 kWh battery to support its more powerful electric motors. If you are looking for the most range, the RWD Blazer EV models drive up to 334 miles on a single charge under ideal conditions.

Bidirectional Charging

Drivers don’t need to overthink charging the Blazer EV; simply plug it into any of the 231,800 public chargers on the map, including any 350 kW DC fast charger that replenishes up to 100 miles of range in 30 minutes. The SUV also supports Level 2 home charging via a GM Energy PowerShift Charger, which restores 40 miles of electric range every hour.

You can turn the electric SUV into a backup power source if you get the Vehicle-to-Home Enablement Kit alongside the home charger. The groundbreaking power system lets you use the Blazer EV’s battery to charge another GM EV or power your home when the grid is down.

Advanced Semi-Autonomous Driving Tech

Super Cruise, available with an active Super Cruise plan, enables drivers to sit back, relax, and monitor the road ahead on compatible highways. The system incorporates adaptive cruise control, automatic lane change, and numerous other technologies to handle most of the driving while engaged.
