Red 2019 Chevy Blazer With 2019 comes with the return of the Chevrolet Blazer. This mid-size crossover SUV has gotten a major facelift both inside and out and certainly isn’t your grandfather’s Blazer. The 2019 Chevy Blazer comes packed with technology, optional equipment, and engine choices that will make you both nostalgic and excited.

Overhauled Exterior

The 2019 Chevrolet Blazer is available in three trim levels and each has a modern take on the classic. Depending on your needs, choose from Blazer, RS, and Premier. While previous models of the Blazer were rather bulky and focused on ruggedness, the 2019 models put style and performance first. Styled after the Chevy Camaro, the update Blazer has sleek and curvy lines that give it a more aggressive and sporty look.

The standard Blazer has a horizontal black grille and rounded dual exhausts. The RS has a custom black mesh grille, black bow tie emblem, and a performance-inspired front air dam. The top-of-the-line Premier trim features chrome accents inside and out.

Powerful Options

The 2019 Blazer has a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine under the hood that gets 193 horsepower and 188 pounds-feet of torque. The four-cylinder engine is available in front-wheel drive only. For more power, a 3.6-liter V-6 engine, which cranks out 308 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque, is also available. The engine is paired with a nine-speed transmission.

The V-6 engine is available with two different all-wheel-drive systems: standard or dual-clutch. The dual-clutch system transfers power between the front and rear wheels and from side to side and is only available on the Premier and RS trim levels.

Towing Made Easy

The Blazer RS trim has a quicker steering ratio, which gives it a better response time. When equipped properly, the 2019 Blazer has a maximum towing capacity of 4,500 pounds, so you can haul your trailer or boat to your destination. The 2019 Blazer also comes with new features that make it easier to hitch your trailer, such as the Hitch Guidance system, which displays a center line in your rearview camera that shows where the hitch is located. You’ll also be able to see an overhead view of the hitch by using the Hitch View system.

Updated Interior

The interior of the 2019 Blazer is more stylish than previous models as well. For maximum comfort, opt for the available heated and cooled front seats, as well as a heated steering wheel. Other new additions to the 2019 model are a remote-start and automatic climate control. Heated rear seats come standard in the Premier and are available in the RS.

High-Tech Features

Something that’s certainly changed since the older models is the addition of high-tech equipment. Inside the 2019 Blazer, you’ll find an infotainment system with navigation and access to apps. Android Auto and CarPlay capabilities allow you to connect your smartphone and listen to your playlists. A Bose audio system that produces amazing sound is also available. Stay connected while out and about with the optional Wi-Fi hot spot. The wireless charging station and six USB ports allow you to keep your devices charged at all times.

With the number of updates to the 2019 Chevy Blazer, there’s no denying this classic is now ready for the modern world.
