2021 Silverado 1500 in Lafayette, LAIf you’re in the market for a truck that can truly get work done, then the 2021 Chevy Silverado is the vehicle for you. With revisions to make it even tougher, harder working, and more practical than ever before, the 2021 truck is one you need to check out.

Basics About the 2021 Chevy Silverado

The 2021 Silverado 1500 truck comes in a wide range of configurations for every application. There are eight different trim levels, with all-wheel drive options, regular, double, and crew cabs, and standard and long load beds.

Built at Chevy’s Fort Wayne, Indiana plant, the Silverado is an American workhorse ready for action.

Pricing

The base Work Truck model with regular size cab and 8 ft. standard bed starts in at $30,595, including a 285-hp, 4.3-liter V-6, and 6-speed automatic transmission with 2-wheel drive.

At the top of the range of the standard trims, we have the High Country 4×4 with a crew cab, standard bed, and the 6.2L EcoTec3 V8 engine starting in at $61,790

New/Unique Features

Every year, Chevy adds new features to the Silverado, and 2021 is no exception. There are newly available options, improved capabilities, and even new standard equipment.

Multi-Flex Tailgate

The available multi-flex tailgate is a revelation, making loading, unloading, and accessing the cargo bed considerably more straightforward than ever before. The tail can fold down as standard using the in-cab or tailgate switches or your keyfob, and there’s a built-in load stop to keep extra-long items secure when moving.

But it’s the split-gate features that make this unique. The inner-gate can fold down completely to allow easy reach far into the trailer, can lower to make for a useful step, or can half fold to make a workbench.

New Color Options

Three new color options have been added to the Silverado line giving you further choices on your vehicle’s look: Cherry Red Tintcoat, Oxford Brown Metallic, and Mosaic Black Metallic.

Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay

Newly added compatibility with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay allows you to easily connect your smart device to the truck’s built-in touchscreen system to access your entertainment, navigation, and communication apps.

Improved Standard Equipment on Base Trim

The base Work Truck model now includes extra equipment as standard. Steering wheel-mounted controls and a three-section split-bench seat is amongst the enhancements added without additional cost.

Advanced Towing Technology

Silverado owners need to tow, so there’s a range of available towing technologies that have been added to the lineup. There are up to 15 camera views available to make trailer hitching and parking easy.

The available trailer systems include Trailer Sway Control, Hill Start Assist, and Trailer Theft Alert. The integrated, available, in-vehicle Advanced Trailering System features customized trailer profiles with check-lists and trailer monitoring.

Increased Trailering and Load Capacities.

Trailering capacity has been increased with an available maximum of 13,300lbs. The maximum available payload has also increased to an available 2,280lbs.

We’ve covered just a very few of the vast range of features found on the 2021 Silverado, so come in to see us at Service Chevrolet, and we can take you through in-person everything that these great trucks have to offer.
