2018-Chevy-Cruze-BlueSince its introduction to the market, the Chevrolet Cruze has received an astounding reception. Coming in as one of the best-priced midrange vehicles, this is the ideal car for the office executive or for those who require a reliable yet comfortable family vehicle. Read on to discover some of the other exciting features of the 2018 Chevrolet Cruze.

Impressive Fuel Economy

There is no need to keep a constant eye on the fuel gauge when driving this vehicle: The 2018 Chevrolet Cruze will get 27 mpg in the city and up to 40 mpg on the highway, thanks to the 1.4-liter Ecotec engine. Not only is this a boost to the budget, but it also places far less strain on the environment.

Stylish New Design

With the second generation of the Cruze, the designers have gone back to the drawing board. Although some of the styling elements remain, many have been tweaked to provide a more sophisticated look, such as an edgier and slightly beveled silhouette. The sleeker headlights and a bigger grille provide a slightly more menacing facade, which only increases the allure of the vehicle.

Technology Takes Precedence

Inside the Cruze, drivers will find the latest technology. This includes Bluetooth and the ability to connect to external entertainment devices. Also standard is Chevrolet MyLink and a 7-inch touch screen that will keep music and apps at the driver’s fingertips. A navigation system that uses the internet and a mobile phone allows drivers to get around town more easily. A 4G LTE Wi-Fi connection for up to seven devices is also available, as is a 12-volt power outlet to keep those phones and other devices powered up during a trip.  The 2018 Cruze also offers support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and it also offers the myChevrolet mobile app that allows drivers to stay connected to their vehicles.

Available Styles

Cruze buyers can choose between a five-door sedan or a hatchback, both of which seats five people comfortably. The hatchback, which offers 47.2 cubic feet of cargo space, is a popular choice for buyers, who also get the option to upgrade to a 1.6-liter turbodiesel engine. This offers slightly more power, which allows the vehicle to navigate hills and valleys as well as city streets with ease.

Trims to Satisfy Any Need

Chevrolet offers one of its largest ranges of trims with the Cruze. Buyers can choose from one of 13 trim options, beginning with the Base model which features a 1.4-liter engine that pushes out 153-horsepower. It has a starting MSRP of $16,975. Other trim options include the LT Diesel Auto 4dr-door Hatchback with a 1.6-liter engine that out 137-horsepower and offers a whole range of other powerful features. The starting MSRP of the LT Diesel is $25,865.  Looking for a manual transmission? The Cruze offers that option with both its gasoline engine and diesel models.

There is no doubt that the second-generation 2018 Chevrolet Cruze will pick up where its predecessor left off.
