Eunice is one of the closest places you can visit as part of a day trip from Lafayette. It is located less than 40 miles northwest of the city, so it takes around 45 minutes to get there. Eunice is known for its strong Cajun cultural significance, with museums and cultural centers offering a representation of the music and history of this ethnic group.
