How To Connect Your iPhone to The 2017 Chevy Silverado

The buying process is just the beginning of new vehicle ownership – once you have your new truck, it’s time to play with it! The 2017 Chevrolet Silverado has many impressive technology features, including smart phone integration software.  It’s easier to get started than you think! Here is how to connect your iPhone to the 2017 Chevy Silverado MyLink System.

• Select “Phone” on the main MyLink menu screen, then select “Pair Device”
• Instructions will appear on the screen in order to start Bluetooth pairing
• On your iPhone, go to Settings and then select Bluetooth. Turn on Bluetooth.
• Under the Bluetooth menu, select the “Chevrolet MyLink” option
• Your iPhone will ask if you would like to pair your device. Confirm.
• On your Chevrolet MyLink screen, a message will appear to pair a New Device. Select “Yes” to confirm pairing.
• When your iPhone has successfully paired with your Chevy Silverado MyLink, you will see a “Pairing Successful” message on the screen.
• To allow notifications to come through while driving, be sure to select “show notifications” under the Bluetooth menu for “Chevrolet MyLink” on your iPhone.

Now that you’ve paired your iPhone to your Chevy Silverado, you can make and answer calls, listen to text messages, access contact lists, selected Chevy MyLink applications, music playlists and more – all while keeping your smartphone safely stored away!

The 2017 Chevrolet Silverado MyLink system can pair up to ten compatible Bluetooth enabled devices to accommodate multiple drivers using both iOS and Android systems.

*The 2017 Chevy Silverado smart phone pairing will work with any Bluetooth MyLink compatible cellphone including : iPhone7 & 7Plus, iPhone6 & 6Plus, Samsung s7, Samsung s6, Note, LG G4, LG G3, or an LG G5.
