Motorized boats are not allowed, and hunters can either hike to one of the three ponds or launch a kayak or canoe and visit all three. If you don’t have your own boat transportation, canoes are available for rent.

2. Beaver Park

Partially bordered by the Vermilion River, this area is popular for bass fishing. The park also features a paved boat landing for convenient and free water access. Don’t be surprised to see an alligator or two enjoying a swim around the large pond.
