How to get Your Vehicle Tailgate Ready
Show Your Colors
If you want a tailgate that really shines, be sure you’re letting everyone know who your favorite team is. There are many tailgating products and accessories that let you do so. Show off your favorite team or mascot by using magnets that adhere to your vehicle or using vinyl graphics. For optimal flair, try sporting a team flag. Not only will your team colors fly high, but it can also help friends and family locate the party!
Bring On the Food, but Forget the Mess
Tailgates are synonymous with lots of delicious and messy foods. Make sure your truck bed or SUV cargo area stays neat and tidy by using cargo mats! This way, any crumbs or spills won’t have the chance to stain your interior, and the mats are easily removable for a quick cleanup when the party’s over.
Make Some Noise
Tailgates come in all shapes and sizes, but if you’re the type that likes to go big or go home, we suggest bringing speakers or a TV for a bold celebration. Portable speakers let you play your favorite tunes from anywhere, and most can last up to 10hrs on a full charge, so you’ll be set for the day.
Make sure to consider power sources when you bring the big screen. These days most electronics come with power converters that enable them to work with a vehicle’s DC lighter. If it doesn’t require an alternative power source, turn up the volume and watch on!
How to Test Drive a Car Like a Pro
Are you ready to buy a new car? If so, you should know that one of the more important aspects of the car buying experience is test driving the car (or cars) you are thinking about buying. Why? Because you don’t truly know if the car you have your sights set on is the right one for your driving style or needs until you sit behind the wheel and give it a spin. You wouldn’t buy a pair of running shoes before testing them out and making sure they fit perfectly…so why would you invest in a car without test driving it to make sure it fits perfectly with your driving style?
Before you run out to test drive the car you want to buy, it’s important to bear a few tips in mind:
Consider Test Driving More Than One Car
You may have the exact car in mind, but don’t fall into the trap of thinking that car is the only one you need. Make a list of at least three to five cars to test drive so that you can get a more accurate picture of the way different cars operate.
Make an Appointment
Rather than just showing up to the dealership armed with your list of cars you want to test drive, making an appointment with a member of the sales staff or online can ensure they have the cars ready for you to test drive. Otherwise, you might have to endure a delay waiting for a sales member, or the car you want to test drive won’t be available that day.

5 Car Noises You Should Never Ignore
Because most people don’t know much about cars, it feels easier to ignore potential problems rather than getting them fixed. This is a mistake, however, because many of the problems will just get worse and could possibly lead to stranding you on the side of the road and costing you more money in repairs. Here are some car noises you can’t ignore.
Squealing
Typically, squealing means that your brakes are wearing down and you need to replace them. If there’s a grind or growling sound, it’s more serious because it means the brake pads have worn to the point where the metal from the brake shoes is pressing against your rotors. This could lead to damaged rotors, which is a lot more expensive to replace than brake pads. Some brakes also have a sensor that squeals even when you aren’t pressing down on your brakes to let you know it’s time for new brakes.
If the squealing is coming more from the engine, it’s probably a worn or loose belt for things like your power steering pump, alternator, or air conditioner compressor.
Scraping Noise
If you’re using your windshield wipers and you hear a scrape, it means that your wipers are wearing down. Though wipers are not too expensive and they’re easy to replace on your own, if you wait, the wipers could wear down enough to put a scratch in your windshield. Windshield replacement costs are easily over $100 but could cost hundreds depending on your car’s make and model. Plus, having poor-performing windshield wipers could be dangerous if you end up in a rain shower.
Popping or Clicking When You Turn
If you hear a sound that is similar to popping, finger-snapping, or clicking when you turn but stops when you straighten, you likely have a constant velocity joint in your front axle that needs to be replaced. This can happen in front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive vehicles. It’s best if you head to your service center if you suspect that this is the problem. It’s not an easy at-home fix.

Keep reading to learn about some places you should definitely check out.
NiteTown
Open from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, this establishment has become an end-of-the-week hotspot for several reasons. Patrons are so impressed by the owner and some members of staff that they often speak favorably about certain employees by name. Also, this nightclub is a great place to meet new people. Whether you’re new to the area or just passing through and want to make new friends, expect a welcoming atmosphere.
DJs frequent the club and make the setting even more memorable, and because there’s a stage inside the premises, NiteTown has the facilities to host live music every Friday.
Drink prices are also very reasonable here. There are drink specials every night of the week as well.
Club 337
You’ll find a spacious bar at Club 337, but after you’ve been there for a short while or even looked at some of the events that happen at this venue, it’ll be clear people don’t only come to sip pints and have casual conversations. When you own a Cadillac CT6 PLUG-IN hybrid vehicle, you get to keep all the luxurious features known for Cadillac, and the only thing you’ll have less of is gas stops. Keep reading to learn about some of the notable features this high-tech vehicle offers.
It Combines Smart Engineering with Plenty of Power
When fully charged, the electric motor on the CT6 offers up to a 31-mile range. That feature gives you welcome freedom to explore without ever using a drop of fuel. However, this car also has innovative hybrid technology that automatically switches between the electric and gas propulsion system.
It’s more efficient than a typical four-cylinder car and you’ll love the power it offers. For example, the total system delivers 335 horsepower and 432 pound-foot of torque. That means as soon as you step on the gas, the car has plenty of acceleration to offer, even during demanding conditions.
The Battery Recharges as You Drive
Although you can charge the battery by plugging the car in, you’ll also naturally recharge the battery while traveling. That’s because the CT6 features an automatic regenerative braking system that captures energy when the car brakes and coasts. This special feature is one of the factors that makes it possible to go up to 440 miles when the vehicle has a full tank of gas and a completely charged battery.
Your experience as a commuter is greatly dependent on whether you have a car that’s ready for the task. As a driver of the Chevy Spark, you’ll soon notice it’s made with frequent driving in mind. Keep reading to find out why.
A Rear-Vision Camera Comes Standard
If you’ve researched other cars, it’s probably become clear that most of them only have rear-vision cameras as available features that increase your base price. However, the Chevy Spark includes a rear-vision camera as a standard feature.
Even if you’re very confident while moving in reverse, the camera’s technology may help you spot things you’d otherwise miss, such as objects that are low to the ground. You’ll especially appreciate the feature if you are trying to back into a tight parking space to cap off your commute.
The Car Has 10 Air Bags
Safety is probably something you think about every time you get in the car, regardless of whether it’s something heavily on your mind or just a passing thought. Whenever you settle into the driver’s seat of a Chevy Spark and turn the ignition to start your trip, it’s easy to feel you’re in a car engineered to keep you as safe as possible. There are 10 air bags throughout the cabin, so if an accident happens, you’ll be well protected.
Like the rear-vision camera mentioned above, the air bags are standard features. Like many Americans, maybe you willingly spend time as a commuter to get to a stable job you enjoy and earn income that you use to live as well as possible. Owning a Chevy Spark allows you to get more things than expected in the base rate, which means there’s no need to pay extra for some impressive features.
